It is with great excitement that we introduce you to one of our amazing CBEE3 Inspirational Panel Speakers Ashleigh Callier Winfield Plus Model and Motivational Speaker.
Ashleigh Elizabeth Callier Winfield a plus-size model based in Portland Oregon. Ashleigh’s journey of life began on a fall night in Grand, Rapids Michigan. She was born to MaryEtta Callier a southern Louisiana born and raised, special education teacher. Ashleigh’s desire to be the best came from a long linage of family members that are now, professors, deans, doctors, lawyers, actor, musicians, and athletes. She was destined for greatness. However, in order to receive the greatness that she was prepped for she needed to believe. Ashleigh’s parents always surrounded her around motivators and Christians that continuously encouraged her and sew seed of life tools. Her drive for success started at Jefferson High School when she knew arts, science and leadership would direct her in a path that ongoingly inspired others. When she attended University of Oregon she was able to gain a psychology foundation. Even though she didn’t graduate with her psychology major it prepared her for her human development major that she graduated with at Warner Pacific. She is now in the process of finishing her MBA degree at Concordia University with emphasis in Leadership/ Project Management. With such an educational background she is be able to enter any dynamics she enters.
Ashleigh’s love for art and creativity started at a young age. However her confidence did not reflect what she secretly desired to be, which is why she leaned on education and focused on the medical field. As time progressed God had a way of turning her life around and modeling ended up choosing her during a very challenged, lack of self-esteem time. She is now presented as a bi-coastal professional model that plans to use her platform to market art and medicine, uplift youth, and refocus what beauty is. Fashion, poetry but especially music has been Ashleigh’s form of vulnerability. Music ministry has been an art that has developed since a younger age. However after Ashleigh’s undergrad experience at University of Oregon, music ministries and fashion helped resurface her in an undesirable way. This musical singing ability lead Ashleigh to be apart of the national known music ministry, Derrick McDuffey and Kingdom Sound.
Ashleigh’s performances did not just stop on the stage. Her runway work for Full figured New York Fashion show, Portland Fashion Week, Seattle Fashion Week, Curvy Chic Fashion Show, Chubby Cart Wheels Fashion Show and many more. Ashleigh was signed in 2016 to Sports Lifestyle Unlimited modeling agency. During the year of 2015, and 2016 was Nominated for best plus model by Portland’s Mercedes Benz, and worked with various notable photographers. She has modeled for brands life Nike, Beach Body, Avenue, Universal Standards, and the list goes on. However the best designer she was able to walk for was the design her mother and herself created: Tailored Made.
