Shellie Willis is a U.S. Army Retired Master Sergeant. She is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for WorkForce Central a workforce development council and is the CEO and Founder of Redefining Your Future, LLC and The Redefining You Foundation where she assist transitioning service women, women veterans and military spouses to their NEXT.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland. She is a Certified Defense Financial Manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Shellie is a wife and mother of two children. Shellie believes that being redefined means SHIFTING your lifestyle and perspective while embracing the next phase in life.

Kariba Jack is an Nigerian American business woman born and raised in the lovely state of Washington. The flame to her business savvy ways, was initially sparked while attending Washington State University and has been burning bright ever since graduation. She launched Creative Events & Design LLC which is the parent company to her various ventures. Referred to as a ‘Jack of All Trades’ she keeps busy to uphold the title while balancing life and personal projects.
The hospitality industry is where she landed after college. First working as a group reservations coordinator followed by working as a entertainment sales manager. It wasn’t long before the major leap of faith occurred and she transitioned from being an employee to being her own boss. Kariba is a portrait and wedding photographer, designer of Frobands, philanthropist who created the DAWA Project, Event director/Party planner, freelance makeup artist and owner of the Seattle Beauty Lounge. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and most recently announced as the new CEO of the Black Female Photographers organization. Kariba also works with small business owners as a consultant to help develop and build their brands and businesses.
Kariba is a people person who finds so much joy in making people look and feel beautiful. She enjoys creating new connections and networks not only for herself but also for her associates. She is a passion driven, traveler of the world whose mission is to live life to the fullest.

Malika Bennett aka ‘Ms. Malika’ is a radio personality, author and the CEO/Founder of Black Arts Love. Black Arts Love is an organization focused on the arts, cultural expression and economic empowerment. Ms. Bennett is a seasoned marketer, writer, community advocate, media professional and businesswoman with over 15 years of professional experience.
Under the leadership of the late Connie Bennett Cameron, she co-published the national award winning publication 206 Teen (Seattle Medium, 1998). Since then, Bennett has used her creativity to publish books, pursue creative endeavors and to drive forward products and services for clients and employers such as Kris Bennett Broadcasting, The Seattle Medium Newspaper Group, Accenture, Department of Defense, SBC Ameritech, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission and Washington and Virginia state governments.
Bennett is a Seattle native and holds a B.A. in Communications from Howard University and a M.A. from American University.

Misty Schmidt is a wife and mother of two. She currently resides in Southwest Washington and is originally from Northern CA. Being an inspirational speaker and writer are among her many talents. She has a passion for helping women realize their worth, beauty and personal truth. This passion has led her to found Sister Love (motivational tools, blog, Instagram, website, daily positive message) with the purpose of helping encourage people, as well as guide them on their path to healing and growth. Sister Love focuses on emotional health, physical health and spiritual health.
Misty’s educational background includes a BA in Social and Behavioral Studies as well as Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University. She is also Alumni with Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. Additionally, Misty is very passionate about serving her community. She has spent over 10 years mentoring youth and serving in international missions/humanitarian services as well as women’s ministries at the churches she has attended.
From being a plus size model on the runway of New York Fashion week to speaking from brokenness with her mission team in the depths of the Amazon, she believes we all have a purpose and we are all capable of finding our worth, confidence and truth. Misty derives great joy from sharing her life journey with authenticity and vulnerability.

Monique Dubose could have never envisioned herself as a Master Resiliency Instructor, let alone a curriculum writer and an entrepreneur. As the owner of The Resilient You – Motivational Speaker/Teacher since January 2014 and the co-author of the United States Air Force’s official Resiliency curriculum; she is indeed all that and more! She provides lifesaving tools to audiences to help them identify their strengths, believe in those strengths, build, and overcome challenges and conflicts. Her message is simple: “You” are Resilient and “You” have the power to “Bounce Back”!
She shares personal stories about being a 20 year Airman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, falling down, and dealing with anger, as she continues to the fight in this thing she calls LIFE. And that is not enough for her…
Monique’s purpose is without any doubt to serve, by first being attentive to the needs of others showing empathy and making everyone she meets feel AMAZING! She empowers her audiences to access their personal power and face whatever comes their way.
A sought-after public speaker, Monique has been the keynote presenter for Washington State Veterans Women Summit, Washington State Social Security Administration, many Washington and Oregon National Guard Family Readiness Yellow Ribbon Programs, and has trained over 9,000 active duty and reserve military personnel, military families and civilians across the United States just to name a few. She also pioneered the Air Force’s 1st Airman Resiliency Cell located at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA.
Monique has a list of degrees and certifications, but her love for people allows her to spend personal time towards community service. She has volunteered over 5,000 hours as a Department of Defense (DoD) Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, Tacoma Rescue Mission, Tacoma Urban League, Hilltop Urban Gardens, Peace Community Center, and Sober Solutions Housing & Supportive Services; and because of this she is a recipient of the 2014 Presidential Volunteer Service Award. She is the President of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. Tacoma Chapter, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and founder of Beyond Beauty Women’s Social Savings Club. Monique is married to James Dubose and they currently reside in Puyallup, Washington with their daughter Monee’ and her mother Carolyn Felton.

Kathei McCoy, affectionately known as Coach Kathei, is an ordained minister and Certified Christian Life Coach with a passionate mission is to write stories, speak messages and teach principles that empower women and girls to live in the fierceness of truth and freedom.
Kathei is committed to teaching the powerful principles and beliefs that helped her find her own fierceness of self-love, truth and confidence through coaching, leading workshops, speaking at retreats and publishing writings that boldly address issues that block women and girls from their own freedom.
After grieving the painful murder of her one and only son, K’Breyan Clark, she is turning his tragic death into a movement for women called “Love Them 2 Life”; for Mothers Raising Black Sons.” Kathei believes the real tragedy of any painful loss is when we get stuck and never discover the meaning and purpose of our pain. She will encourage you to boldly face your tragedy by answering the burning question, “What will I do with my pain?”
Coach Kathei has been speaking, teaching and facilitating workshops for over 12 years. In December 2014, she left a 20-year career in county government to pursue her passion to serve and support women in their journey to freedom full time. An original story teller and brand ambassador of the globally recognized movement for women and girls; Wonder of Women International; founding member of the first Christian Sorority in Washington State; Gamma Pi and the loving wife of 17 years to her husband Raymond McCoy and Mama to her adorable grandson, KB.

Hanne was born and raised in Ecuador and came to the U.S. at age 17. She studied government and international relations at Boise State University and started her career with the U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. She went on to work for a number of nonprofit agencies and think tanks, advocating for and empowering immigrant communities, low-income families, and young people of all ages. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington.
Locally, Hanne worked for OneAmerica, a nationally-recognized civil rights advocacy organization. Her work there included securing federal and state government funding to implement a statewide citizenship campaign and leading organizing efforts to increase immigrants’ participation in civic life. She also worked for the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where she supported the launch of many new community projects, including a new YMCA facility in SeaTac and a large portfolio of youth development and education programs in South King County. Additionally, she worked in an executive capacity to support the operations of the Auburn Family YMCA and to promote equity and inclusion for the organization at the local and national level.
Currently, Hanne works for King County’s Department of Community Human Services. She is at the helm of a system that brings together public and private partners to reduce education and employment disparities for young people. She believes strongly that when communities come together on behalf of their youth the results are transformational.
Hanne lives in West Seattle with her family. She enjoys traveling, yoga, and volunteering.

Presidential Volunteer of Service Award winner, Denise Nicole is an American Beauties Plus Lifetime Queen. Her roots are in Washington State where she attended Highline College as a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member and studied Hospitality and Tourism Management along with Business Information and Technology.
Professionally, Denise Nicole is the Career & Education Navigator for Port Jobs’ Airport Jobs and Airport University Programs. Port Jobs is a non-profit organization that helps individuals find jobs in the Travel and Logistics industry, as an Ambassador for Airport University she helps low income airport workers go back to school to obtain a higher paying job.
Personally, Denise Nicole is the mother of two beautiful children Charizma and Kingston both are no stranger to the camera themselves!
Most recently Denise Nicole has made television appearances on Northwest A New Day, Q13 Fox modeling for the Seattle style expert Darcy Camden. She has found her passion for editorial and commercial work through being a brand ambassador for local and national designers.
Denise Nicole strives to make a difference in her community by being a positive influence and has been recognized nationally for her Excellence and dedication in her platform of “Education & Teen Pregnancy Prevention Awareness”.

Chisa O’Quinn is a Social Worker who has traveled with individuals through the worlds of Corrections, Counseling, Disability Services, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse. What sets her apart as a leader and advocate in the field is her ability to creatively seek solutions in difficult situations, and her focus on person centered planning strategies. Chisa holds a Masters in Social Work from Portland State University. She has been in the field of Developmental Disabilities since 2003, starting as an Employment Specialist, Supported Employment Program Manager and Personal Agent in Vancouver, WA. Recently, Chisa was a Personal Agent in Oregon’s Brokerage system.
Chisa is an avid spectator who enjoys watching sporting events, comedy shows, theater, movies and generally saying “yes” to new opportunities and activities that cross her path. Chisa is the founder of My Sister’s Keeper NW, an event planning organization designed to connect, empower, and enrich women. Her volunteer interests include volunteer coordination for iUrbanTeen and Mosaic Blueprint.
